Jack’s Reloaded

THE PROJECT

Jack’s Reloaded provides disused spaces for short-term use by artists and creative enterprises. This initiative is an important first step in breathing new life into Jack’s Magazine, which has remained dormant since it was decommissioned in the early 1990s.

There are currently several small space in the Small Arms Ammunition Store available for use.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Jack’s Reloaded is looking for new creative and community projects to take spaces at Jack’s Magazine under a licence arrangement. Creative entrepreneurs, makers and social enterprises able to open a minimum of 4 days per week, and who are established in their ideas, projects and activation methods are ideal. Spaces can be occupied during daylight hours 7 days a week.

Selected participants will be given access on a month-to-month basis for a licence fee. You could be part of a growing creative movement to promote local economic, cultural and community development and be part of the renewal of a remarkable heritage place.

If successful, you get 30 days rent free – then, if the space hasn’t leased, you get another 30 days, and so on. It’s the perfect way to test the market and try new things.

Individuals and groups interested in submitting an Expression of Interest should email Working Heritage in the first instance info@workingheritage.com.au
