Jack’s Magazine is a remarkable historic place on the banks of the Maribyrnong River in Maribyrnong. Constructed over several periods from 1875 to 1921 for the storage of explosives, the bluestone buildings, tramways, earth blast mounds and canal showcase Victoria’s military and industrial past.
Jack’s Magazine has been locked up and unused since the early 1990s. Working Heritage has been appointed to conserve and revitalise the site.
